Skyborne Technologies Appoints Military and Defense Tech Veteran Michael Mackiewicz as Vice President of Operations USA

Northern Virginia — 9 March 2026— Skyborne Technologies today announced the appointment of Michael “Mack” Mackiewicz as its new Vice President of Operations USA, strengthening the company’s U.S. leadership team as it accelerates expansion into defense, homeland security, and special operations markets.

Mack, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Chief Warrant Officer 4, brings more than three decades of operational leadership, defense acquisition expertise, and executive-level management experience across military, government, and unmanned systems industries.

Prior to joining Skyborne, Mack served as a Business Development Manager for USSOCOM at Ghost Robotics, where he led engagement with the Department of Defense and U.S. Special Operations Command to shape requirements, guide acquisition planning, and identify growth opportunities across specialized mission areas.

During a distinguished 26-year career in the U.S. Army, Mack held key senior leadership roles at the tactical and operational levels, driving modernization and capability development for Special Forces. Serving as the Director of Force Modernization for U.S. Army Special Forces Command (Airborne), he oversaw a $1.4 billion portfolio comprising 90 major equipment programs. In this capacity, he successfully delivered next-generation capabilities to more than 15,000 personnel across seven Special Forces Groups. Today, Mack is an acknowledged authority in Special Operations acquisition, force modernization, and the strategic integration of advanced technologies into complex combat environments.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mack to Skyborne,” said Adrian Dudok, CEO – USA. “His combination of SOF experience, acquisition mastery, and industry leadership in unmanned systems is unmatched. Mack will be instrumental in scaling our U.S. operations, accelerating manufacturing and delivery, and ensuring we remain ahead of emerging capability demands from our customers.”

In his new role, Mack will oversee Skyborne’s U.S. operational strategy, manufacturing readiness, regulatory and compliance integration, and customer delivery. His leadership will support the company’s rapid growth and its commitment to delivering innovative aerial robotic systems for defense, security, and government partners.

"Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how critical advanced technology and rapid modernization are to operational success. Skyborne Technologies is at the forefront of the robotics industry, and I am honored to step into this role to help integrate these next-generation capabilities into the hands of America’s finest," said Mackiewicz.
