Skyborne Technologies Unveils CODiAQ: A Groundbreaking Quadruped Robotic Weapon System

McLean, VA — 13 October 2025 — Skyborne Technologies today announces the launch of CODiAQ (Controller-Operated Direct-Action Quadruped), a revolutionary ground-based robotic system that brings lethal capability to quadruped platforms using Skyborne’s modular weapon payloads and AI-assisted targeting software. CODiAQ Rapid RDT&E development is funded by OASW(SO/LIC) SSO Irregular Warfare Capabilities Development & Innovation Directorate.

Designed to deliver accurate remote direct-fire and ballistic breaching, CODiAQ integrates advanced AI target recognition with Skyborne’s HAVOC 40mm and CHAOS 12GA modular payloads. Operated by a single user via a handheld remote controller, CODiAQ empowers warfighters with precision lethality while maintaining operational simplicity.

CODiAQ is purpose-built for the warfighter. The quadruped operates autonomously, allowing the operator to stay focused on mission objectives. Designed for ease of use, operators can be trained in just a few days, significantly enhancing soldier lethality on the modern battlefield. CODiAQ can be deployed within minutes and is capable of rapidly engaging multiple targets with precision.

Key features include:

  • Rapid Deployment: Ready for action within minutes, capable of engaging multiple targets quickly.

  • AI Targeting & Ballistics: The Targeting Electronics Optical Box (TEOB) provides onboard computing for day/night operations, enabling precision strikes and extended standoff.

  • All-Terrain Mobility: Navigates rugged terrain, wooded areas, and urban environments including staircases. Rated IP-67 for wet and dusty conditions.

  • Ease of Use: Operators can be trained in days, making CODiAQ a scalable and low-cost force multiplier.

CODiAQ is engineered for tactical human-machine teaming, and will integrate with other lethal robotic systems such as the Cerberus MI sUAS, forming a cohesive ecosystem of AI-driven battlefield capabilities.

Skyborne Technologies is committed to delivering lightweight, low-cost per-shot solutions that enhance soldier lethality and operational flexibility. CODiAQ is currently being rolled out to U.S. Government partners for deployment across a wide range of mission environments.

The CODiAQ will officially be on display at AUSA, Washington DC 13 - 15 October 2025 at the Australia Pavilion.
